The moon and the stars seem to be lining up...a vulnerable right wing incumbent...a good Democratic year ahead...a potentially damaging Democratic primary averted...a top shelf candidate with a strong base who is raising the kind of money it takes to win in a competitive Congressional seat…and now the cavalry arrives in the form of national independent expenditures.

It is starting to feel like we have a real shot at electing the first Democratic Member of Congress from this area since Howard Wolpe's district was dismantled in the 1991 redistricting.
